UI Designer – Remote (UK based) - £50,000 - £65,000

Our client, an innovative healthcare company, is looking for a skilled UI Designer to help shape intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling digital products that make a real difference in people’s lives. This is a unique opportunity to combine creativity with purpose, designing interfaces that support better health outcomes and improve the patient experience.

The Role

As a UI Designer, you’ll be responsible for crafting clean, user-friendly interfaces across web and mobile applications. You’ll collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and developers to ensure that design solutions are not only beautiful, but also functional, accessible, and aligned with the needs of patients, clinicians, and healthcare partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces that balance creativity with usability, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
• Translate wireframes and concepts into polished visual designs.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers and developers to deliver seamless experiences.
• Build and maintain a consistent design system tailored for healthcare applications.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and are optimized for responsiveness.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience designing interfaces for web and/or mobile applications.
• Strong skills with industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).
• Understanding of UI principles, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience working within or building design systems.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and communicate design decisions clearly.
