Business Analyst – Software House (Surrey)

Salary: Up to £50,000 • Hybrid: 2 days onsite per week

 

About the Role

Our client, a fast-growing software house based in Surrey, is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join their Agile delivery team. The Business Analyst will work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to define, document, and deliver clear business and system requirements within an Agile and Scrum environment. This position suits a Business Analyst who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and working on innovative software solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a Business Analyst across multiple Agile software projects.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and process workflows.
• Create and manage Jira epics, stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders throughout Scrum ceremonies.
• Support user acceptance testing and validate technical outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in both business and technical processes.

 

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a software or technology-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative within Agile teams.
