You’ll be part of a close-knit development
team working across the full lifecycle of web applications, contributing to
both frontend and backend development while collaborating with product and
delivery stakeholders in an Agile environment.
The position is based in the Warwick area,
with a hybrid working model and on-site collaboration once per week.
The
Role
As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll be
responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining modern web applications
that support a widely used digital platform. You’ll contribute to both frontend
and backend development, work with structured development processes, and play
an active role in improving how software is delivered.
What
You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining full-stack web
applications across both frontend and backend systems.
- Building responsive and user-friendly
interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Developing backend services using C# and
supporting application functionality with structured data access.
- Writing and optimising SQL queries while
ensuring performance and reliability.
- Working with ORM frameworks such as Entity
Framework.
- Contributing to code reviews, maintaining
coding standards, and improving development processes.
- Debugging issues, resolving bugs, and
enhancing existing features.
- Collaborating within Agile delivery cycles,
participating in stand-ups, refinements, and retrospectives.
- Using Git-based version control systems
such as GitHub or GitLab to manage code and collaboration.
What
We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years’ commercial experience
developing web applications.
- Strong experience with C# development.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and
JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience using Vue.js or the ability to
quickly learn modern frontend frameworks.
- Solid experience writing SQL queries.
- Experience working with ORM tools such as
Entity Framework.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently while
collaborating with a wider development team.
- Experience using version control systems
such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive
approach to development..
Nice
to Have
- Experience with automated or unit testing.
- Exposure to Agile or Kanban development
environments.
- An interest in UI/UX and frontend design.
- Experience learning or working with new
technologies and frameworks.
