PHP Developer

We’re working with a fast-growing team who are building out some genuinely impactful business-critical apps and they need a Senior Developer to help drive things forward.

This isn’t one of those “just maintain legacy” roles. You’ll be writing clean, modern code, solving interesting problems, and helping architect and scale new solutions across websites, middleware, and integrations.

The role

• Developing custom software that supports real business growth
• Writing secure, scalable code using best practices (SOLID, OWASP, etc.)
• Collaborating with stakeholders to shape and deliver solutions
• Supporting & mentoring junior Developers
• Keeping things fresh: CI/CD, modern PHP, containerisation, etc.

You’ll need

• 3+ years’ PHP experience (Laravel or Symfony preferred)
• Strong OOP fundamentals
• Solid MySQL skills
• Familiarity with Git, Composer, and dev workflows
• A passion for clean code, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Bonus if you bring

• Docker experience
• Exposure to Vue, React or similar
• Automated testing (PHPUnit / PEST)
• CI/CD knowledge (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
